The OceanLiner™ is a floating entertainment pier that offers an exclusive and imaginative retreat for cruise ship guests. It features a floating pool and beach club, a globally-branded entertainment venue, an excursions dock, and an open-air gondola for exploring the port destination. In the evening, it transforms into a vibrant night spot with live music, dancing, and drinks. It is designed and built using eco-friendly materials and construction methods to minimize the need for dredging and its impact on the environment, and natural features like coral reefs and underwater rock formations will provide a foundation for marine life to thrive.

Floating Pier
Our team has partnered with PND Engineers to develop OCEANLINER floating pier complex.
Long established in the extreme marine environment of Alaska, PND floating dock systems are an ideal approach for berthing worldwide. PND Engineers, Inc. is a comprehensive consulting engineering firm that offers a wide range of services, including civil, structural, geotechnical, coastal, and marine engineering, as well as hydrology and hydraulics, construction engineering, value engineering, surveying, environmental and permitting support, inspection and quality assurance, and research and development. PND caters to various clients from diverse sectors, such as individuals, businesses, corporations, and local, state, and federal governments.
PND's OceanLiner™ floating dock system is a versatile and environmentally-friendly approach to berthing ships worldwide. The system features cluster piles for mooring dolphins and can be adapted to fit specific locations. The system includes two cruise ship berths, a separate pier for smaller ships, and a pontoon for mega yachts. The berths can also be integrated into island ferry systems. The floating platforms are positioned to eliminate the need for dredging or seafloor scouring protection and can accommodate ships of all sizes.
About OCEANLINER™
Floating Pier
The floating dock system, a common solution in Alaska, is suitable for berthing worldwide. The OceanLiner™ system is environmentally friendly as it can be positioned without the need for dredging or ocean floor protection. It has cluster piles for mooring and is modularly expandable.
The system includes two cruise ship berths, a pier for smaller yachts, and a pontoon for mega yachts. It can also be integrated into an island ferry system.
The system is located to minimize the need for dredging and seafloor scouring protection and is designed to be at the ideal height for disembarkations.
A dedicated boutique berth is tailored to smaller ships and new yacht classes like Ritz Carlton.
Compass
The centerpiece of the OceanLiner™ is the Compass, which is a green landscape with tropical vegetation that creates a tranquil atmosphere.
Water features like waterfalls and fountains add to the oasis feel and provide a refreshing contrast to life on board.
These island features and attractions can be customized to suit the host location or a third-party marquee brand.
The Beach & Pool Club
The beach and pool club is a great place to relax during the day, with a zero-entry sandy beach washed by the sea infinity pool that turns into a nightclub at sunset. The pool club is floating at sea level and is designed with wood decks at different levels overlooking the large infinity edge pool. Loungers and cabanas are available and served by the in-pool bar and the restaurant that overlooks the area from the Compass.
The pool club becomes part of the nightclub experience at night!
Excursion Dock & Marina
The Excursion Dock & Marina, a 2 level dock is the focus for excursion traffic during the day and can also include some general boat slips.
Wide steps lead down to the waters edge and embarkations pontooon, whilst on the upper level, seating and further natural planting continues to reflect the ‘oasis’ feel of the destination. During the afternoons and into the evening, the dock becomes a marina for those visiting OceanLiner™.
The Excusion Dock and Marina provides a home for OceanLiner™ radio and wifi, providing free entertainment, and internet services to all visiting guests.
On the lower level, tour operators kiosks support the marine services, all controlled from the Harbor Masters office. And on the upper level, the sun deck features a bar that overlooks the cruise ships moored close by.
The Portolano
The Portolano system is a scenic gondola transportation system capable of transporting over 5,000 passengers per hour from the cruise ship to the shore, replacing the long concrete runways of many ports.
The system takes guests high above the water for a swift and picturesque arrival experience, matching the perception of an unspoiled island adventure!
